Last Update: 2023.11.26

SAORI, as a global movement, could not have evolved to be what it is today without the past and the continued dedication and contributions made by everyone within the community as a whole. As the source of tangible and intangible products and resources connected with SAORI as the movement, practice and mission-driven brand, hereunder we publish our intellectual property policies in order to protect the common interests shared among the entire SAORI community and to continue our mission and values in the long term.

  1. We will properly protect SAORI’s intellectual property, which includes but not limited to its brand name, the name of Misao Jo, her concept and words, our tangible products, resources, copy-righted materials, classes and services provided by the founder family organizations and their affiliated entities in any manner, whether orally, visually or in tangible form (including but not limited to in writing).

  2. We will use the SAORI logo mark and brand name appropriately and in accordance with our standards, and do our best to protect and enhance the values connected with SAORI as the movement, practice and the mission-driven brand. Being the source of SAORI as the movement, practice and mission-driven brand, we reserve the right and liberty to decide when, where and how our brand name and other intellectual property connected to it are used, in order to protect the common interests shared among the entire SAORI community.

  3. No other parties are allowed to use and/or disclose SAORI’s intellectual property without our express written permission. We will firmly take legal actions in the event that we discover the unauthorized use and/or disclosure of our intellectual property. This includes the unauthorized use/or disclosure of any aspects of the intellectual property encompassed in SAORI, such as its brand name, copyrighted works, concept, know-how, tangible products, resources, classes and services provided by the founder family organizations and their affiliated entities.

  4. We respect the intellectual property rights of other parties and will not use or disclose their intellectual property without their permission.
